Taking Flight: Global Choir Project
10:45 AM-2:15 PM | Arts + Literature Laboratory, 111 S Livingston, St 100, Madison WI 53703
Join our community choir to learn and perform two songs on Make Music Day!
Madison is representing the US in a global live streamed choir concert featuring 8 other countries! For the first 90-120 minutes, local choral conductors Emily Volland & Emmit Thom will lead participants in learning “Birds of a Feather” by Billie Eilish and “Three Little Birds” by Bob Marley. Both songs are inspired by the “Taking Flight” theme for the global choir project. Once the songs are learned, it is show time! We will watch the performances of the other 8 countries (Canada, Germany, Ghana, Mexico, Nigeria, South Africa, Turkiye, and the U.K.) and perform our song!
Watch the livestream from 12:30 pm to 2:15 PM CT
