FINICK

FINICK is the creative project of 19 y/o Minneapolis singer/songwriter Josie Hasnik. They produce soulful indie folk music with some pop influences, featuring poetic lyrics that range from longing to hopeful, dark to dreamy. Along with their 2025 album "Weekends In Purgatory" they have also released a EP "Out To Sea" and debut album "Where Could We Go?" and a new EP coming out in August 2026. FINICK has performed at the 2023, 2024, 2025 and upcoming Winnipeg Folk Festivals, numerous Twin Cities venues that included a sold out show at 7th St Entry in January of this year. Also in-studio performances on WSUM, Radio K, UMFM and KVSC. Josie attends UW Madison and has performed several times at Cargo Coffee, The Rigby and Badgerpalooza.
