Vanessa Blackwell & Steve Hoffenberg

Steve has been playing music for kids since 1972. He used music and movement extensively in his teaching at the preschool and kindergarten level and has written a few songs for kids. He loves Americana, classic rock and folk music. Steve will be collaborating this year with Vanessa Blackwell. Trained in voice at the college level, Vanessa is eager to bring her joyful music to share with the Madison community. Vanessa and Steve have been practicing together since late April. Despite the age differential, they've found their taste in music is quite similar. Bayview with its diverse population seems the perfect venue to share their music.
