No Limit
"It’s evident pretty quickly what kind of sound No Limit have and they waste no time in getting there. From the first track, Close Call feels like a love letter to the fuzz rock bands of the 90s and 00s, replicating a classic sound of midtempo distorted guitars, heavy guitars, monotone vocals and intricate interludes. For the majority of the tracks, they play loud and they play hard with interspersed moments of light clarity that eventually find themselves being washed over by a sludgy wave of grunge. The guitar playing is the star of the show, with some really clean and interesting licks that take shape and dissipate. It’s clear from the ebbs and flows of the arrangement that despite this being a debut, No Limit knows exactly what they want to do and they know exactly how to do it." Madison Music Radar
