Why simply immerse yourself in a subject when you can run down a diving board and do a cannonball into it? I’m a joyful nerd-girl violist, reunited with my instrument during the lockdown. I’ll be playing cherry-picked movements of solo sonatas, fantasias, and airs written for cello and violin, which I have then stolen. I can sometimes be found startling kayakers and other innocents, while playing a Troll Session under the Yahara River bridge over East Washington. I’ve recently added Beethoven and Glazunov pieces for viola and piano, assisted by my trusty Bluetooth speaker. I’ll be playing in other places around town for MMM’26, so come say hello and stay awhile for some serendipitous art!
