Vanessa Blackwell & Steve Hoffenberg

Steve has been playing music for kids since 1972. He used it in his teaching at the preschool and kindergarten level and has written some songs for kids. He loves American, classic rock and folk music. Steve will be collaborating this year with Vanessa Blackwell. Trained in voice at the college level, Vanessa is eager to bring her joyful music to share with the Madison community. Vanessa and Steve been practicing together since late April. Despite the age differential, they've found their taste in music to be quite similar. Bayview with its diverse population seems the perfect venue to share their music.
