Junipour
Junipour is a psych-rock band originating in Verona, Wisconsin. Its members include Ian Theissen on guitar, Avery Durnen on bass, and Jared Voss on drums. The three met in high school but created the band in 2023 while home for the summer. With influences like Frankie & The Witch Fingers and King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard, but also a background in jazz and funk, Junipour has a unique sound that can be soft and subtle, but also metal. In summer 2023, the band released "Chemical Burn," a quick single that encapsulated the "Junipour style," and played a few small gigs. With more recorded music on the way, Junipour is on the lookout to showcase their work at venues. Fun Fact: All three members have self-released music of their own! Ian Theissen is better known as "Bright Orange" and "Jared Voss" as Jarey, while "Avery Durnen" declined to use a pseudonym. Their albums and singles are available for listening on all streaming platforms.
