Hi, I play the kora. The kora is a harp-like instrument that originates from Senegal/The Gambia/Mali. I have amplified my kora and enjoy playing soothing versions of classic Mandinka tunes. I'm interested in playing a set during a relaxed time/setting (e.g. morning or end of the night). Last time I played at Make Music Madison, the end of the night set was perfect for the kora. I could play from 30-60 minutes. I'd also like to play a set with my friend on the piano. I would probably play guitar or bass. These would be funky pop tunes and many of them originals.
